The Creative Regions Lab aims to redefine creative activity in regional Australia to create regional futures. We are a teaching and research hub that drives the development of creative enterprises and activities in regional Australia. Our core function is to conduct research, identify themes, invent industries, direct, coordinate, respond to and promote all projects nationally and internationally. We operate through projects that combine the culture of regional creativity and innovation with the invention of new productivity possibilities.

Fusion is an international, open-access online scholarly journal for the communication, creative industries and media arts disciplines. Co-founded by the Faculty of Arts, Charles Sturt University (Australia) and the College of Arts, University of Lincoln (UK), it is a peer reviewed scholarly journal with seven issues published since 2012.

Institutions, archives, museums worth knowing about in your city/region: Dundee Contemporary Arts (DCA) is an art centre which houses two contemporary art galleries, a cinema, a print studio, a café and the Visual Research Centre (VRC http://www.dundee.ac.uk/djcad/vrc/), including the Artists’ Book Collection http://www.app.dundee.ac.uk/vrc/artistsbooks/
McManus Galleries houses a museum and art gallery with a collection of fine and decorative art as well as a natural history collection.
For those interested in gaming technologies, recognized Abertay University is based in Dundee as well. St.Andrews University is around 20 min by bus
The V&A is currently building a centre for art and design in Dundee, completion in 2017.
